Subsidies for MegaBanks

This article, from before the election, reads like a recap of Romney's campaign failure.  This was not truly a failure because Romney couldn't speak out against the bank subsidies.  The Libertarians could have taken this issue and attracted Tea Party and Occupy Wall Street voters.

Mitt and the Moochers
...
Romney is right to raise the issue of subsidies, but he badly misstates what has happened in the US during the last four years. The big, nontransparent, and dangerous subsidies are off-budget, contingent liabilities generated by government support for too-big-to-fail financial institutions.  These subsidies do not appear in any annual appropriation, and they are not well measured by the government - which is part of what makes them so appealing to the big banks and so damaging to everyone else.
If only Romney had turned popular disdain for subsidies against the global megabanks, he would now be coasting into the White House.

GOP Insiders Blame Loss On The Poor

Wealthy elite who backed the bankster Mitt Romney will themselves a story so they can feel better.

Jon Stewart reported:
President Obama won another term. According to Bill O’Reilly and Sarah Palin, [the] American [voter] who feel they are entitled to “things” cast their vote for the president who gives them handouts.
“What an incredible story to tell yourselves,” Stewart said. “We would’ve won if it weren’t for the moral failings of the non-real America. Fox lost because last night, minorities, who feel entitled to things, came and took the country away form the self-sufficient, white, Medicare retirees and upper class tax avoidance experts ...”

Karl Rove's Math

Everyone should be able to observe that Karl Rove is a paid political consultant who will lie to the people paying him.  On election night, Karl Rove proved that he can not do math when he continued to argue that Obama would not take Ohio.

Those who pay Karl Rove are the morons:
Shortly after Fox and everyone else called Ohio and the election for President Obama, Rove staged a live TV mutiny. He insisted that the Ohio call had been premature and then forced Fox’s Megan Kelly to make an SNL like walk through the Fox building and confront the network’s official number counters with Rove’s objections.

Election Recap

Chuck Baldwin, 2008 Constitution Party candidate for President, released an election recap that pulls in the history of fake conservatives.

[E]ver since Reagan, republicans have routinely rejected legitimate freedomists and have nominated pseudo-conservatives. The result has always led to a resounding defeat for republicans at the polls.
...
Romney was just the latest attempt by the GOP establishment to force a big-government “moderate” upon party faithful.
...
The GOP’s refusal to listen to their grassroots, to advance populist causes, and to disconnect themselves from Wall Street continues to cost them elections. In short, the Republican Party in Washington, D.C., is completely out of touch with average Americans.  The same scenario played out here in the State of Montana.

Fake Donations for Flood Victims

A recent article reveals the heart-felt donations for flood victims weren't really personal donations.  The Romney campaign staged the entire event:
"... Romney was really concerned that his "Storm Relief Event" in Kettering, Ohio yesterday would look like a dud, so he and his team stocked their donation tables with $5,000 worth of supplies ..."

It gets better, or worse:
"... the event was so manufactured that they allowed supporters to use the donations which were bought by the campaign, to donate back to the campaign."

Mitt Romney has no political moral values, as the description of him being a "well oiled weather vane" is accurate.  Not only does he have no morals, his campaign has staged a clearly fake event.  Does anyone believe anything from the Rigged Romney campaign?

Own The Voting Machines

Guess who controls the company that has electronic voting machines.  These machines will be used to count the vote in some swing states.  Did you guess Mitt Romney and family control the company that makes electronic voting machines?

Through a closely held equity fund called Solamere, Mitt Romney and his wife, son and brother are major investors in an investment firm called H.I.G. Capital. H.I.G. in turn holds a majority share and three out of five board members in Hart Intercivic, a company that owns the notoriously faulty electronic voting machines that will count the ballots in swing state Ohio November 7. Hart machines will also be used elsewhere ...

Billy Graham Is Being Used

The October 18 Wall Street Journal had a full page ad with his picture, his signature, and text imploring readers to "vote for candidates who base their decisions on biblical principles" and "to vote for those who protect the sanctity of life" and to "vote for biblical values".

If this was meant to influence people to vote for Willard "Mitt" Romney, then a few minutes of fact checking would reveal that Romney is a member of a cult which believes people can attain the same status as God.  Additionally, Mitt Romney's cult religion is primarily run by the bishops and the Book of Morom, not by the Bible.  As Governor of Massachusetts, Romney upheld a woman's right to kill her unborn baby.  Recently Romney has said if he become President he will take no action on abortion.

Romney Will Compromise Away The Constitution

Even though he was endorsed by the NRA, Mitt Romney is a confirmed gun grabber. He signed gun restriction legislation as Governor of Massachusetts. Last night during the two-party duopoly Presidential debate (excludes other Presidential candidates such as Gary Johnson), Mitt Romney described how he builds consensus to ignore the Constitution. If Romney can get consensus, he will do anything including violating the oath of office to uphold the Constitution.

From the scripted debate last night:
CROWLEY: Governor, Governor, if I could, the question was about these assault weapons that once were banned and are no longer banned. I know that you signed an assault weapons ban when you were in Massachusetts. Obviously with this question, you no longer do support that. Why is that?
ROMNEY: Well, Candy, actually, in my state, the pro-gun folks and the anti-gun folks came together and put together a piece of legislation, and it's referred to as a, as an assault weapon ban, but it had at the signing of the bill both the pro-gun and the anti- gun people came together, because it provided opportunities for both that both wanted.
There it is. Mitt Romney will ban guns and do everything else to violate the Constitution, if there is consensus.

When a fake gun-rights organization like the NRA negotiates a gun-grab, Mitt Romney will sign it. If you support the Constitution and the 2nd amendment to the Constitution, you can not vote for Mitt Romney.

Romney's VP Pretends To Volunteer

Romney's VP, Paul Ryan, pretended to volunteer at a food kitchen. Reports say Paul Ryan barged into the food kitchen, staged a photo-op washing clean dishes, then left within 15 minutes. The so-called leadership of the GOP is in dire need of a clean sweep. "... the faith-based charity that runs the soup kitchen, the campaign did not have permission and "ramrodded their way" into the facility. "We are apolitical because the majority of our funding is from private donations," Brian Antal told the Washington Post. "It's strictly in our bylaws not to do it. They showed up there, and they did not have permission..."

Romney's Mansions

Romney is the candidate of the 1%.  He is so far removed from an average working family, that he has no means to relate with the struggles of regular Americans.

Mitt’s many mansions
... Mitt currently owns three homes ...

... Two of Mitt’s current homes — the lakefront compound in New Hampshire and the beachfront mansion in La Jolla — sit on the water. So surely Mitt can sympathize with the millions of Americans whose homes are “under water,” worth less than their mortgages because of the dramatic decline of housing values. ...

Romney Abortion Plan: More Abortions

Mitt Romney supports keeping abortion legal.  Why anyone thought Romney would do any different, is a mystery.

Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney told the Des Moines Register Tuesday that legislation regulating abortion would not be a part of his agenda ...

It makes sense that Romney wouldn't do anything to slow baby killing, as he also advocates killing US soldiers in unending wars.  Of course, Mitt Romney and his family will never serve in the military.  Mitt Romney dodged the draft during Vietnam.

Monsanto Loves Romney

Romney worked for Monsanto, which makes enormous profits from genetically modified foods.

From an article on Natural News:
One year before Mitt Romney began working on the Bain & Company project to rebuild "Monsanto" and cast their new image and focus on agriculture biotechnology, Congress passed a bill banning PCB (polychlorinated biphenyl), an odorless, tasteless, clear liquid known to cause cancer that was the "bread and butter" of Monsanto's profits. Monsanto was already branded and plagued with the label of having created the "Agent Orange" contaminated dioxins used in Vietnam. Now Monsanto would need a big save, financially and reputation-wise, so they could fool the public with their new image and a new "frontier," while secretly polluting and genetically modifying American agriculture with the new faceless poison known as Roundup.

Romney knew his first job at Bain was to propel an evil company that was on the brink of failure. He knew Monsanto's previous reputation and about all the litigation. Romney also knew he would be rewarded financially in the biggest way if he could pull the whole thing off, and he did. Romney changed Monsanto's image over the years, from a scandal ridden chemical giant to a seemingly "prestigious" Agri-business firm. (http://dprogram.net)

Romney Is A Moron

Linus Torvalds continues his unvarnished criticism of Mitt Romney, calling him a moron.

Romney said, "... the windows don’t open. I don’t know why they don’t do that. It’s a real problem. So it’s very dangerous."

Linus's post on Google+, in reference to Romney's idea of airplane windows that can be opened.
"He really seems to be a f*cking moron."

Mormonism And Scientology

Few commentators are willing to discuss the cult-like religion of Mitt Romney.  Linus Torvald, the creator of the Linux operating system, commented on Romney's Mormon religion.  Linus call Mormonism "Batshit Crazy".

The post on Google+
... Mormonism as a religion is a fairly close second to the Scientologists in the race to "Batshit Crazy", and quite frankly, it's not brought up enough in politics because of idiotic politically correct fears of religious criticism.
... So despite that apparent widespread acknowledgement that there's some serious crazy stuff there based on the rantings on a convicted con-man, the social bonds seem to hold it together fairly closely.

Pretender Not Contender

Mitt Romney has never attracted real grassroots enthusiasm.  TV viewers of the 2012 Republican National Convention were significantly lower than 2008.  During the RNC, Mitt Romney looked more like a pretender than a contender.

Romney Bombs: Convention Speech Draws 13 Million Fewer Viewers than McCain in ’08
Mitt Romney’s convention speech was watched by 25 million Americans, which is 13 million fewer viewers than watched John McCain accept the Republican nomination in 2008.
Mitt Romney’s inability to captivate the nation resulted in a gain of only 5 million viewers from the second night to the third night of the Republican convention. ...

Romney Medicare Fraud

Mitt Romney claimed his companies never took government Medicare or Medicaid funds.  A Romney corporation plead guilty to defrauding the government Medicare program.

Mitt Romney is a corporatist who participated in defrauding the federal government:

... Romney denied that Bain did “any work with the government like Medicaid and Medicare”. Now we learn that Bain, under Romney’s “supervision”, purchased and ran the Damon Corporation, who pled guilty to Federal conspiracy charges as a result of tens of millions of dollars in systemic Medicare fraud committed under Romney’s and Bain’s control. Damon was fined over $119-million which was, at the time, the largest criminal healthcare fine in Massachusetts history and Mr. Romney’s participation was characterized in 1996 by Corporate Crime Reporter thusly: “As manager and board member of Damon Corp, Mitt Romney sits at the center of one of the top 15 corporate crimes of the 1990′s.”

Romney Will Replace Obamacare With What?

Mitt Romney implemented socialized medicine in Massachusetts.  He now claims he will repeal and replace Obamacare, which was modeled on Romneycare.  What does "repeal and replace" mean?  Replace it with what?

This article highlights how Romney should repeal the IRS rule that enforces Obamacare, but Romney isn't talking about repealing the rule because he is only go to replace Obamacare and not completely remove it.
The Romney camp still says Mitt will “repeal[] Obamacare, starting Day One.” If he were serious, he would announce that he will rescind this IRS rule on day one. But the fact that Romney picked Leavitt suggests he really doesn’t mind ObamaCare that much, and that he is just saying whatever he needs to say to get what he wants.
When Romney gets serious about removing Romneycare Obamacare, he will commit to repealing the IRS rule.  Until then, Romney is only pandering to conservatives while he implements liberal ideology.

Paul Ryan Is No Conservative

Some Republicans have become excited over presumptive nominee Romney's vice-president pick of Paul Ryan.  After a little research, conservative Republicans are finding that Paul Ryan is not a conservative.  Ryan is an insider who has been in Congress for over a decade.  Ryan, like Obama, voted for the bankster TARP bailout at the expense of the American public.

Paul Ryan even voted for Obama's taxpayer-funded bailout of General Motors.  Paul Ryan is a big-government war monger who happens to be registered as a Republican.

The New American wrote:
Ryan voted for all of the big-ticket, budget-busting items of the administration of President George W. Bush, including the No Child Left Behind Act and the prescription drug benefit known as Medicare Part D, often described as the largest expansion of the welfare state since Lyndon Johnson's Great Society. Ryan voted to create the new Department of Homeland Security, including the Transportation Security Administration that has harassed air travelers, while making aircraft safe from shoes, belt buckles and grandma's knitting needles. He voted for the PATRIOT Act, giving government enhanced powers for warrantless snooping into the lives of American citizens as well as foreign nationals. Ryan voted for the Troubled Assets Relief Program that bailed out the "too big to fail" financial institutions and inspired the Tea Party rebellion against big government and "crony capitalism." He backed the auto bailout that turned GM into "Government Motors."

Romney Supports Murder

Several states have death penalties for crimes.  This is a legal process of killing people.  Without an indictment, trial, guilty verdict, and assignment of death penalty, killing is not legal.

Many Christians believe any killing is murder, and therefore those convicted and sentenced to death should instead be incarcerated for life.  Mitt Romney is not a Christian and he supports illegal killing of Americans.

Commenting on the illegal killing of an American who did not have a trial, Mitt Romney praised Obama and stated, "I commend the president, the members of the intelligence community, our service members, and our allies ..."

Paul Ryan's Budget Increases Deficit

Paul Ryan was announced as the vice-president pick for Mitt Romney.  Many see Paul Ryan as a fiscal conservative, yet his proposed budget increases taxes & spending while increasing the deficit.  Slowing down the rate of spending does not reduce spending, it reduces the rate of increase in spending.  Paul Ryan is not a fiscal conservative.

Ryan budget plan doesn't actually slash the budget
Here are a few little-known facts about Paul Ryan's supposedly slash-and-burn budget plan.
  • Government spending increases almost every year over the next decade.
  • Tax and other revenue rises year after year.
  • The 10-year deficit is still $3 trillion.

Paul Ryan Shows "Flexibility on Policy"

The Wall Street Journal portrays Paul Ryan's flexibility in a good light.

"Mr. Ryan voted for the Troubled Asset Relief Program, the Bush-era Medicare prescription-drug benefit and an early, limited version of what became the auto-industry bailout. In addition, he voted against President Barack Obama's stimulus ..."

Paul Ryan voted for the TARP bankster bailout (along with McCain and Obama).
Paul Ryan voted for expansion of Medicare.
Paul Ryan voted for the auto industry bailout.
Paul Ryan voted for Obama's deficit spending.

On that record, Paul Ryan is a big-government liberal.

Romney Wants Gay Boy Scout Leaders

Mitt Romney thinks he can manage everything, even the Boy Scouts of America.  The Boy Scouts is a private organization, and Mitt Romney should keep his liberal gay opinions to himself.  With all of Romney's moral flip-flops (for abortion, for gun control), he doesn't have the moral credentials to be President of the USA.  He should go back to being president of his own trust funds.

Romney Staffer Defends Romneycare

Romney Fails To Excite

Mitt Romney is not a credible candidate for President.  His business experience aside, Romey's legislative record in Massachusetts shows he is a flip-flopper who supported abortion and gun control.  That Romney is failing to excite the base of conservative Republicans is no surprise, as Romney's records shows he is not a conservative.

In Tight Iowa Race, Romney Struggles to Excite G.O.P. Base

... Romney faces a worrisome undercurrent here: that the grass-roots elements who animated the Iowa caucuses — including evangelical Christians, Ron Paul supporters and Tea Party members — are not fully behind his candidacy in a battle that will be determined partly on who turns out his party’s base. “He just doesn’t seem to connect well, and I’m not sure he’s a strong enough candidate, to be very, very honest,” said Steve Boender, a farmer here in southeast Iowa, who supported Rick Santorum in the state caucus.

... whether Mr. Romney — who once backed universal health care and supported abortion rights — can generate the excitement needed to draw these voters to the polls is a question that worries some Republicans. ...

Romney International Trip: FAIL

Between Romney making bad comments about London's efforts for the 2012 Olympics, and a Romney staffer losing his cool, Romney's international trip has been a major failure.

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s international trip was just starting to look up when his traveling Press Secretary, Rick Gorka, told reporters to “kiss my ass.

Obama's staff said, "“He’s been fumbling the foreign policy football from country to country. And there’s a threshold question that he has to answer for the American people and that’s whether he’s prepared to be commander-in-chief…. This raises some questions about his preparedness,” she added."

Romney Shuts Out Young Republicans

With all of Willard Romney's money and inside GOP contacts, why is he scared of an 18-year-old conservative?  If the Republicans and Willard Romney want to win, they should include the young enthusiastic voters.  It appears the Republicans would rather lose, than include the future Republican generation.

Mass. GOP deals dirty

I have seen the future of the Republican Party in Massachusetts — and he’s an 18-year-old kid who just got screwed by Mitt Romney.  Evan Kenney was a senior at Wakefield High School when, inspired by a politically active teacher, he decided he’d like to become a delegate to the Republican National Convention. ...
Kenney won, receiving more votes than the two former GOP gubernatorial candidates he was running against, Charlie Baker and Kerry Healey.
But in the end, it’s Baker and Healey who are going to Tampa as delegates to the RNC, while Kenney will be home learning a lesson in petty, partisan politics.
Why? Because the state GOP cheated. ...

Romney Supports Health Care Mandate

Mitt Romney supports Obama's health care mandate via a tax.  This is the same system Romney implemented in Massachusetts.  Many conservatives have wondered why the Republican party seems intent on running a liberal rich guy with similar policies of Obama.  The Wall Street Journal is finally publicizing the fact that Romney supports much of the Obama policies, including health care and wars.

Mitt Romney said Wednesday that the U.S. health care law's penalty is a tax, breaking with one of his top aides and further muddling the lines between the Massachusetts health-care plan he championed and the federal version he opposes.

While the Wall Street Journal calls Mitt Romney "confused", it is not confusion.  Mitt Romney believes in socialized medicine, just like Obama.

If Mitt Romney loses his run for the White House, a turning point will have been his decision Monday to absolve President Obama of raising taxes on the middle class.

Romney Pushed Socialized Medicine

The Wall Street Journal retrieved emails Mitt Romney thought he removed from his days as Governor of Massachusetts.  The emails clearly show Mitt Romney was a driving force for socialized medicine.  There is not a sliver of difference between liberal Romney and war-monger Obama.

How Romney Pushed State Health Bill
Emails Show Governor Defending Insurance Mandate for Massachusetts Residents
When Mitt Romney left office as Massachusetts governor, his aides removed all emails from a server computer in the governor's office, and purchased and carted off hard drives from 17 state-owned personal computers, according to a current state official.

But a small cache of emails survived ...

Mr. Romney ... strongly defended the so-called individual mandate, a requirement that everyone in Massachusetts have or buy heath insurance. And they privately discussed ideas that might be anathema to today's GOP—including publicly shaming companies that didn't provide enough health insurance to employees.

Why I Am Endorsing Mitt Romney For President

A blogger endorses Mitt Romney:
While I hope that my endorsement will help, in some small way, to promote party unity, I am also aware that there will probably be some cynics who doubt my sincerity. After all, it is public record that I have donated the maximum amount to the Ron Paul 2012 campaign. And my neighbors might have noticed the four foot “Ron Paul 2012” banner in my yard or the the eight by four foot sign that I bolted to an unused utility pole (lit by two floodlights and surrounded by twinkling multi-colored Christmas lights).

So to reassure any sceptics, here is a partial list of the reasons I am endorsing Romney for president:

1. Consistency - Mitt Romney has been unwavering in his public devotion to the principles and issues

Romney Rejects Balanced Budget

Mitt Romney recently spoke against Ron Paul's plan to balance the federal budget within three years.  There is no denying Mitt Romney is a tool of the bankers and big-government Keynesians.

Romney rejects Ron Paul-style austerity

Speaking Monday at a town hall style-meeting event in Cleveland, presumptive GOP presidential Mitt Romney plunged a fork into the idea that he could come around to embracing Mr. Paul's call for deep cuts in federal spending.
...
"The reason," he explained, "is taking a trillion dollars out of a $15 trillion economy would cause our economy to shrink [and] would put a lot of people out of work."

Ron Paul's plan to balance the budget includes big cuts in foreign adventures which will allow those troops and spending to energize the economy at home.  Mitt Romney has no desire to reduce military aggression and spending.

Continuing in the article:
"I think the easiest place to cut spending is overseas," Mr. Paul said at the time, reminding supporters that the nation has spent trillions in Iraq and Afghanistan. "It doesn’t make us safer. It doesn’t make us richer. It makes us poorer."

Romney Has Little Support

Mitt Romney visited a community center in Pittsburgh.  Only "4 couples" attended his speech.  Anybody with a dozen cookies should be able to attract a dozen people.  While the media calls Mitt Romney the presumptive nominee, Romney has no grassroots support:

Romney Signs Gun Ban

A short seven years ago, as Massachusetts Governor, Mitt Romney signed a gun-ban bill.  Mitt Romney is a liberal Democrat who happens to be registered Republican.  Republicans who respect gun rights must find a real conservative candidate.

“Deadly assault weapons have no place in Massachusetts,” Romney said, at a bill signing ceremony with legislators, sportsmen’s groups and gun safety advocates.  “These guns are not made for recreation or self-defense.  They are instruments of destruction with the sole purpose of hunting down and killing people.”
Like the federal assault weapons ban, the state ban, put in place in 1998, was scheduled to expire in September.  The new law ensures these deadly weapons, including AK-47s, UZIs and Mac-10 rifles, are permanently prohibited in Massachusetts no matter what happens on the federal level.

Romney Quiet On Gun Rights

Mitt Romney continues to maintain his silence on gun rights.  Being a liberal from Massachusetts, Mitt Romney's record shows he is not in favor of gun rights.

Gun Owners of America today sent an Open Letter to Gov. Mitt Romney, asking him -- yet again -- to submit his survey responses to GOA.

“We sent you a questionnaire not once, not twice but three times now,” said GOA Vice Chairman Tim Macy.

“What did you send back? A form letter stating you are pro-Second Amendment -- with absolutely nothing to back up this laughable claim.  As Governor, you were proudly anti-Second Amendment, but as you have with most issues, you have now changed your stripes to spots.”

Romney Is Anti-Gun

The national gun rights organization, Gun Owners of America, has rated the Republican candidates.  Mitt Romney is at the bottom of the list.

Romeny Fails To Generate Support

The St. Charles County Republicans Missouri Republicans held their caucus Tuesday evening.  Mitt Romney's lack of support was apparent because he decisively lost.

St. Charles County do-over caucus backs Paul

St. Charles County Republicans reconvened Tuesday, weeks after the initial caucus was canceled amid rules disputes and claims of favoritism. ...
Despite his front-runner status, Romney still failed to generate much support. Instead, slates of Paul supporters were picked for 2nd and 3rd District congressional caucuses later this month (the county straddles the two districts) and the statewide GOP convention in June. Even a late attempt by Santorum and Romney supporters to align fell short of topping Paul.

Weak Support

Gingrich claims Romney has weak and lukewarm support from Republicans.  This is to be expected for a candidate that is so similar to Obama.

Romney weakest front-runner since 1920
With two key Southern primaries on the horizon this week, Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich sharpened their attacks against Mitt Romney on Sunday, as Santorum bluntly declared that the former Massachusetts governor "can’t close the deal" and Newt Gingrich called Romney the party’s weakest front-runner since 1920.

Romney Supports Obamacare

In this March 22, 2011 USA Today newspaper article, Mitt Romney argues for Obamacare being modeled from Romneycare.  This clearly shows Mitt Romney is terribly close to President Obama on socialized medicine.

... health care has run off the rails. For the sake of 47 million uninsured Americans, we need to get it back on track. ...
There's a better way. And the lessons we learned in Massachusetts could help Washington find it.
No other state has made as much progress in covering their uninsured as Massachusetts. ... I worked in a bipartisan fashion with Democrats to insure all our citizens. It took almost two years to find a solution.
... This Republican is proud to be the first governor to insure all his state's citizens. ...

Birth Control Hypocrite

While Governor, Mitt Romney said nothing about a state law providing for birth control.  When Obama recently made a similar directive on birth control, flip-flop Mitt Romney spoke out against it.  It was OK when Mitt was Governor, but now he says it is not OK.

Mitt Romney has said the Obama administration is intruding on religious freedom by moving to require religious–affiliated employers to cover contraception services in their health insurance plans.
When confronted with a similar law as governor of Massachusetts, Mr. Romney didn't raise objections on religious or moral grounds, say people who worked in his administration or in health care interest groups there.

Gov. Romney quiet on birth-control law
Mitt Romney faulted President Barack Obama's original push to require church-affiliated employers to pay for birth control as an "assault on religion," but as Massachusetts governor, Romney was largely silent about a state law that required virtually the same contraceptive coverage.

Romney Does Not Support Constitution

Will Mitt Romney's years of flip flops continue if the is President?  Will he uphold the Constitution?

This Mormon says Mitt Romney will not uphold the Constitution:
Romney's position on many issues is actually at odds with the teachings of modern day Church leaders.
...an answer Romney gave during the first South Carolina debate. The moderator asked him if, as president, he would have signed NDAA FY2012 into law as it was written. He answered without hesitation: "Yes, I would have."
... Critics of the law say it removes U.S. citizens' right to due process and a speedy and public trial as guaranteed in the 5th and 6th Amendments. The bill was passed overwhelmingly in the House and the Senate, and President Obama signed it quietly into law on New Year's Eve.

25% for us, 15% for King Mitt

In a recent debate, Mitt Romney called for a 25% income tax rate for Americans.  "In a ... debate on Monday, Mr. Romney said more broadly that he favored dropping the top tax bracket to 25%."

Mitt Romney, while still refusing to disclose his income tax returns, saidWhat’s the effective rate I’ve been paying? It’s probably closer to the 15 percent rate than anything.

One rate for elite bankster Mitt Romney, and a higher rate for the rest of us.  Like Mitt's $10,000 wager, this is another example of Mitt Romney being out of touch with America.

He Didn't; He Did

Mitt's message is that he has no influence on what PACs do.  According to the Post-Gazette, Mitt flip-flops on whether or not he even sees the PAC advertisements.
Mr. Romney said: "With regards to their ads, I haven't seen them. And, as you know, under the law, I can't direct their ads." A moment later, Mr. Romney acknowledged that he had, in fact, seen the ads and he recited a few of their messages.
